That’s Quidditch and Beta Theta Pi for me. They make me so happy and remind me to strive to reach my potential every day.

KEDZIE TELLER is Boston’s most skilled Chaser. He’s one of the quickest players that’ll be at the tournament, and he brilliantly leads his teams fast-paced and strategic offense. KATRINA BOSSOTTI adds a unique defensive touch to the team, strongly defending and only…
Oh yah UMD players are awesome.
Source: thegoldensnitchySince I’m actually going there this weekend, I want to feature a few beaters I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for at the SBU Classic. Meet Ricky Nelson and Zac Connelly of University of Maryland.
If I were to make a list of the most underrated teams in Quidditch, Maryland would…
Check out Joseph Kony. And stop the animal. The video’s 30 minutes. PLEASE watch and share it. He kidnaps children and uses them as sex slaves and child soldiers for no reason whatsoever. He MUST BE STOPPED, and the best way to do that is to get the word out. http://vimeo.com/invisible/kony2012

I didn’t go to the tournament, but here at UMD, we ALWAYS strive to abide by the rules of Quidditch; not doing so ruins the game for everyone. Physical contact drills at practice are done keeping the rules in mind so that they’re followed in the game.
I shy from physical contact, but I’ve been knocked down and scared several times by my own teammates and players from other teams. Occasionally, a rule may be broken. Off the pitch, though, we understand that the game was just the game, and we still love each other.
Ultimately, love is a good part of what Quidditch and Harry Potter are about, so let’s please keep it alive.
Source: sarahwoolseyIt makes me sad when quidditch players trash talk each other and bad mouth other teams (both in person and especially on Tumblr/Facebook/etc). Sometimes things get heated during games… but maybe things either didn’t happen how they might have appeared, or something happened in the fast pace of the…
